In today’s fast-changing world, discussions about mental health are gaining traction, but there is still a great deal of stigma attached to the topic. Mental health has long been a taboo subject, one that people are reluctant to talk about in public. In reality, mental and physical well-being are equally important. While addressing mental health issues can be life-changing, ignoring them can cause long-term difficulties.

 

Why then are we still reluctant to discuss it? Is it fear of being judged? Ignorance? Because mental illness is a stigma, many people are prevented from seeking help. The truth is that just like physical health, everyone has mental health. In addition, seeking therapy or counseling must be as common as going to the doctor for a checkup.
